CLIMFEET is a reversible sole that warms your feet in winter (+4°C) and cools them in summer (-3.5°C), without electricity or chemicals, on the thermodynamic principle of the heat pump using only the mechanical energy of your steps. 1st sole in the world capable of producing hot & cold without electricity or chemicals... Walk towards the thermal comfort of your feet! Patented technology: very thin (6 mm) and comfortable, CLIMFEET has 2 layers of sand-based silicone (petroleum-free): one, very flexible, generates cold and the other, slightly less flexible, generates heat. Each layer has air filled cells that are connected to those of the opposite layer by a nozzle. When the foot puts pressure on the ground, the compression of the cells of the very flexible layer compresses air to the cells of the other layer via these nozzles, naturally increasing the air temperature thanks to thermodynamic laws (like when you inflate your bike tire, the compressed air heats the pump). When the foot is raised, thanks to the hyper-elasticity of the materials, the compressed air from the slightly less flexible layer returns to the other layer via the nozzles, which reduces the air temperature thanks to the expansion of the air (as when deflating a tire, the air comes out very cold). The cycle is repeated as long as the person runs or walks, with no time limit.
