I grew up in an outdoor-friendly state, and from an early age, I enjoyed exploring.

About two years ago, I got into hiking.

It's a great way to get in a workout while being in nature.

I used to like to bring along a pair of binoculars.

Even though the binoculars were compact, they were still a pain to carry around.

So, I decided to leave them at home and hike without them.

Sure enough, I spotted a bald eagle on my first hike without the binoculars!

Murphy's law, right?

I thought about my buddy, who always brings a monocular telescope when he's hiking or camping.

I've used it, and it's convenient, but I didn't like the performance.

One night while eating dinner, I randomly started to think about his monocular telescope.

I was thinking of ways it could be improved, oddly enough.

That's when I had a lightbulb moment.

I decided to design my own lightweight monocular telescope!

I spent six months on R&D but finally nailed it.

I never go on a hike without it, and my friend even replaced his old one with mine!
