  • PCIe 5.0 x4 INTERFACE – Uses a direct PCIe x4 connection designed for PCIe 5.0 NVMe operation and backward compatibility with PCIe 4.0 and PCIe 3.0 hosts. Actual speed is determined by the SSD, CPU, motherboard, BIOS and available PCIe lanes.
  • ACTIVE SSD COOLING – The integrated cooling fan directs airflow across the SSD and adapter board to help manage the heat generated by high-performance enterprise NVMe drives during sustained read and write workloads.
  • METAL SUPPORT TRAY – The extended metal mounting tray helps support the longer E1.S and E3.S drive formats and reduces mechanical stress on the EDSFF connector. Verify the SSD dimensions, thickness and available chassis clearance before ordering.
  • EDSFF NVME ONLY – Designed for compatible SFF-TA-1002 E1.S/E3.S NVMe SSDs. It is not an M.2, U.2, SATA or SAS adapter. Hot-swap and boot support depend on the SSD, motherboard, BIOS and operating system and are not provided by the adapter alone.

Description

PRODUCT DESCRIPTION The LEEBICHEN PCIe 5.0 x4 to E1.S/E3.S adapter allows one compatible enterprise EDSFF NVMe SSD to be installed in a desktop computer, workstation, server or storage test platform. The adapter connects the E1.S/E3.S SSD directly to the host PCIe x4 interface without converting the NVMe protocol to SATA or SAS. Because the card connects one x4 NVMe SSD, motherboard PCIe bifurcation is generally not required. An integrated cooling fan and extended metal drive tray help support and cool enterprise SSDs during sustained workloads. Actual performance and operating temperature depend on the installed SSD, host platform, system airflow and PCIe configuration.
