Converts 10/100/1000Base-T Ethernet over RJ45 to 1000Base-SX multimode fiber with an ST duplex port for integrating copper and fiber network segments.
Extends network links up to 1,800 ft. over 50/125 µm multimode fiber or up to 720 ft. over 62.5/125 µm fiber, with RJ45 copper runs up to 300 ft.
Autonegotiation supports 10, 100, and 1000 Mbps on the RJ45 port, with full-duplex and half-duplex operation to work with a range of existing Ethernet equipment.
Includes Link Fault Passthrough, QoS bandwidth management, IEEE 802.1Q VLAN tagging, and support for jumbo frames up to 9.2 kBytes for advanced network traffic handling.
DIP switch settings let you enable or disable LFP and restrict the RJ45 port to 10 Mbps when needed, helping simplify network setup and maintenance.
Status LEDs show power, link and activity on both ports, optical signal input, and 100 or 1000 Mbps RJ45 link speed for quick visual monitoring.
Compact metal housing measures 3.7 x 2.76 x 1.02 in. and works as a stand-alone converter or with Intellinet 14-slot Media Converter Chassis model 507356; external 5 VDC power adapter included.
