The key is the precise tuning of the Alphasonik Subwoofer driver to the highly efficient slot port design. Built on a stamped steel basket that provides a sturdy platform in which the motor structure can maintain a solid position, properly vented in addition to the bumped and vented back plate to keep the motor structure cool, and a pressed paper cone with an inverted poly dust cap that are designed to be lightweight yet rigid enough to maintain its shape during higher excursion. The computer optimized bass reflex slot port wraps around two walls of the enclosure to produce the necessary low frequencies thus ensures excellent extension and frequency response.
