Description

The MP200 Series is a line of entry-level compound microscopes designed for classrooms, student labs, and introductory biological studies. All models share the same core platform — WF 10× eyepiece (18 mm FOV), 4-position nosepiece, Abbe NA 1.25 condenser with iris diaphragm, coaxial mechanical stage, and 3W LED illumination — and differ in head configuration and objective type. The MP201 is the standard monocular model, equipped with achromatic objectives at 4×, 10×, 40×, and 100×/1.25 oil immersion for clear, color-corrected images across all magnification levels. The MP201PL upgrades to plan objectives — including spring-loaded 40×/0.65 and 100×/1.25 oil immersion — delivering noticeably flatter, sharper images from edge to edge, ideal for students moving into histological or more demanding biological work. The MP202 shares the achromatic objective set of the MP201 but adds a binocular head with paired WF 10× eyepieces, making it the better choice for longer sessions where eye fatigue is a concern. The trinocular variant adds a third optical port for attaching a camera or imaging system, making it suitable for documentation, demonstration, or remote viewing without interrupting the observer.
