This product allows increased stabilty when using a slider on a single tripod and eliminating(canceling) the need for a second tripod. It attaches to the tripod with the c clamp and fits most tripods. The extending arm allows you to set the slider at a level horizontal position or at an angled, the tilt postion. Actually one arm provides enough stability, however we recommend using 2 arms for angled tilt slider shots.
