Special Features

  • FIBER OPTIC STROBE TRIGGERING: Converts the camera hot-shoe signal into optical pulses for firing an external underwater strobe through a fiber optic cable.
  • 600+ FLASHES PER CHARGE: Rated for more than 600 flashes and over 5 hours of continuous operation on a fully charged battery, with a 0.3-second recycle time.
  • USB-C RECHARGEABLE: Features a built-in 3.7V 300mAh lithium-polymer battery. Charging takes approximately 1 hour with a 5V/1A USB power source.
  • NOTE: MANUAL CONTROL ONLY: TTL automatic flash exposure is not supported. Adjust flash output manually on the external strobe. Not compatible with SeaFrogs A6xxx or RX1xx housings.
  • COMPACT PACKAGE: Measures 50 × 36.2 × 22mm and weighs approximately 27.5g, with 3 hours (max) Work time (full power battery)

Description

The SeaFrogs SR-009 is a rechargeable manual flash trigger for compatible underwater photography systems using fiber optic strobe connections. It converts the camera's hot-shoe signal into optical pulses that trigger an external strobe through a fiber optic cable.
The updated version features USB-C charging, a 3.7V 300mAh lithium-polymer battery, more than 600 flashes per full charge, over 5 hours of continuous operation and a 0.3-second recycle time.
TTL automatic flash exposure is not supported. Flash output must be adjusted manually on the external strobe. Before ordering, confirm the housing's internal clearance, hot-shoe position, fiber-optic port alignment and strobe compatibility.
