The street tee is a stainless steel 304 t-shaped pipe fitting with female National Pipe Taper (NPT) threads on one run and male NPT threads on the other run connections and on the branch for connecting one male pipe and two female pipes. The street tee has NPT threading for creating tighter seals than straight threads and is made from stainless steel 304, which is higher strength and more corrosion resistant than stainless steel 302.
