Description

The Rosslare MD-D02B is a B Series plug-in expansion module designed for Rosslare AC-225x-B access control panels. It adds a 2-reader interface, 4 supervised inputs with end-of-line resistor protection, and 4 relay outputs to the host panel. This module helps expand a compatible AC-225x-B panel to support a total of 4 readers and 4 doors. It can be used with keypad, RFID, or biometric readers that support Wiegand, Clock & Data, or other transmission formats supported by AxTraxNG software. The MD-D02B installs through the tailored expansion port in the access panel and is automatically recognized after the panel is powered on. Once installed, AxTraxNG can program the added readers, inputs, and outputs for access control and automation. Electrical specifications include 12 VDC input from the host controller, 30 mA standby current, 135 mA maximum current draw excluding attached devices, 12 VDC reader output, and 300 mA maximum reader current. Rosslare lists the physical size as 3.9 x 3.0 x 1.3 inches.
