Special Features

  • FIELD OF VIEW & LENS: Massive 36mm x 36mm lens size, the MDS35 provides the largest viewing area of any optic available today, while maintaining a relatively compact length of only 76mm. For comparison, a traditional tube-shaped red dot sight has a viewing area of ~350 sq. mm while the MDS35 has a whopping 1,296 sq. mm viewing area. Viridian's fully multi-coated lens outperforms a traditional red dot lens in clarity and color transmission, avoiding the blue shift of traditional red dot lenses.
  • CRYSTAL CLEAR OPTICS: Dot sights have traditionally had mechanical and electronic components awkwardly designed onto the sides of their round housings. These standard designs allow for lower cost and more simplicity in manufacturing. he MDS35 has all the critical components cleverly designed into the top of the unit, leaving the sides and bottom as sleek as possible.
  • GREEN AIMING POINT: The MDS35 features a gree point that was engineered for rapid target acquisition in all lighting scenarios. This feature capitalizes on the human eye's heightened sensitivity to green wavelengths - a technology pioneered by Viridian nearly two decades ago.
  • MOUNT: The MDS35 includes a minimalist design mount to continue the goal of giving unobstructed view. With an Aimpoint T2 interface and made from machined stainless steel, the mount is extremely heavy duty while being as thin and streamlined as possible and providing lower one third co-witness
