How to Use
1. Surface Preparation: Ensure the application surface is clean, dry, and free of dust, oil, grease, and loose debris. For best adhesion, lightly sand rough surfaces and wipe clean before proceeding.
2. Cut the Nozzle: Cut the sealant tube nozzle at a 45° angle according to the size of the crack/gap (the opening should match the width of the area to be sealed).
3. Load into Caulk Gun: Insert the sealant tube into a standard caulk gun (not included) for easy extrusion.
4. Apply the Sealant: Extrude the sealant smoothly along the crack/gap, ensuring full coverage without bubbles. For wider gaps, apply in a continuous bead and press into place with a caulking tool.
5. Tool the Finish: Use a damp caulking tool or finger to smooth the sealant surface into a neat finish within 5-10 minutes of application (before the sealant skins over).
6. Curing Time: Allow the sealant to cure at room temperature. Avoid water exposure during the curing period (full curing time varies by temperature and humidity, refer to product packaging for details). Paint can be applied after full curing if needed.
7. Cleanup: Clean excess uncured sealant with a damp cloth immediately. Cured sealant can be removed with a sharp tool.
