Operating on DC 24V with a rated current of 0.11A and a power consumption of just 2.7W, this compact brake delivers a rated torque of over 2.5 N.M with a fast 50ms response time. Its working principle is straightforward: when power is cut, the permanent magnet's strong attraction firmly locks the pure iron friction plate, bringing the shaft to a halt. When power is restored, the coil generates a magnetic field that cancels the permanent magnet's pull, allowing the spring loaded friction plate to release and rotate freely with the shaft. Featuring a 57x57mm flange frame, a 39mm thickness, and an 8mm shaft hole, it integrates seamlessly with standard NEMA 23 stepper motors.
