Description

The peghead overlay is the face of your stringed instrument: the finishing touch of quality. Ebony is a well-established favorite for this purpose.
Thickness-sanded to 5/32” (4mm), these veneers are large enough for guitar, banjo or mandolin.
This Ebony veneer measures approximately 3-7/8" x 7-7/8" x 5/32” (106mm x 203mm x 4mm)
NOTE: Ebony is usually not uniformly black. We recommend Black Fingerboard Stain, as used by Gibson®, Paul Reed Smith® and other makers for darkening the streaks on ebony fingerboards, bridges and peghead overlays.
