Special Features

  • Precision Real-Time Clock: Ensures highly accurate timekeeping with ¡À2 ppm accuracy over a wide temperature range, eliminating the need for external crystals and reducing system complexity.
  • Automatic Backup: Maintains accurate time even when main power is disconnected, ideal for applications requiring continuous operation without downtime. When the main power supply is reapplied or the voltage value returns to the permissible range, the on-chip reset function can be used to restart the system microprocessor.
  • Time Calendar Function: RTC stores seconds, minutes, hours, day of the week, date, month, and year information. For months with fewer than 31 days, the date at month's end will automatically adjust. The clock operates in either 24-hour format or 12-hour format with AM/PM indication.
  • Automatic Power Switching: Supports seamless power transition between main supply and backup battery, ensuring reliable performance during power fluctuations or outages.
  • Modifiable Address: Supports cascading with other IIC devices. The 24C32 address can be modified by shorting pins A0/A1/A2. Default address is 0x57.
