Description

Advanced RPMI-1640 is a popular basal medium that enables the cultivation of mammalian cells with significantly reduced Fetal Bovine Serum (FBS) supplementation. Unlike traditional RPMI-1640, this medium allows for a 50-90% reduction in serum supplementation without altering cellular proliferation or morphology. Many cell lines can be directly cultured in Advanced RPMI-1640 without prior adaptation. Successfully cultured cell lines include Vero, Raji, Daudi, Jurkat, Clone E6-1, THP-1, 4T1, CT26.WT, PC-12 (High differentiation), 22RV1, BxPC-3, B16-F10, and others.
