From Innovative Research, this is a polyclonal antibody in liquid form, buffered in phosphate buffered saline at pH 7.2 with 0.1% sodium azide. Goats were immunized with highly purified dog CRP, sourced from dogs with elevated CRP levels. The resulting antiserum was solid phase absorbed until it reacted with serum containing the acute phase protein, yielding a single band. The specific anti-CRP was then immunoaffinity purified from a dog CRP IA.
