The TeeJet 8460-3/4 Pressure Regulator is a diaphragm-type manual pressure relief / regulating valve designed to control and maintain pressure for uniform spray booms or broadcast spraying applications. The superior diaphragm-type design allows for responsive pressure control. The TeeJet 8460-3/4 Regulator has a maximum pressure range of 300 psi and handles flow rates up to 70 gpm. Its extra large valve passages handle full flow from the supply line. The diaphragm on this regulator is made of corrosion-resistant material, while the nylon liquid handling parts provide excellent chemical resistance to many farm chemicals and fertilizer solutions. Control parts are sealed from liquid contact.
The Pressure Gauge measures pressure on the regulator and helps diagnose possible pressure problems. The gauge has a maximum reading of 300 psi. It is glycerin-filled to reduce pulsation and lubricate the internal mechanism and has a glass face. Very simple to install with a wrench.
