This CLIA kit employs the Sandwich-CLIA method. It comes with a micro CLIA plate pre-coated with an antibody specific to Rat TAT. Samples or standards are added to the plate wells, followed by a biotinylated detection antibody specific for Rat TAT and an Avidin-Horseradish Peroxidase (HRP) conjugate. After incubation, free components are washed away, and a substrate solution is added. Luminescence occurs in wells containing Rat TAT, the detection antibody, and Avidin-HRP conjugate. The Relative light unit (RLU) value, measured at 425nm, correlates positively with Rat TAT concentration. The sample's Rat TAT concentration can be calculated by comparing its RLU value to the standard curve.
