Priogen's QuIC kits come with MNPROtein, a Syrian hamster recombinant truncated prion protein (amino acids 90–231) tailored for QuIC experiments. Acknowledging the necessity for RT-QuIC standardization, our founding team initiated mass production of MNPROtein at the University of Minnesota in 2019. An increasing number of peer-reviewed publications employ MNPROtein, facilitating cross-lab result comparison and replication of published findings.
