The baculum (also penis bone, penile bone or os penis) is found in nearly all mammals with the exception of humans and a few other primates. These bones average about 4.5 inches in overall length (not including curvature). These seemingly odd bones have been used for centuries for toothpicks, buttons, swizzle sticks and tool handles.
