The fret hammer is an essential tool to seat frets in the fingerboard. This hammer is also a favorite for jewelry work. It has a comfortable wooden handle with two, 7/8" threaded heads for both power and finesse. The plastic head is used primarily to reduce denting and damage to the frets while hammering. A stubborn fret can sometimes need a little more persuasion and using the brass end will give you a little more force to seat a fret completely.
