  • This stirring rod is 5/8" in Diameter and is 24" long, for use when melting larger amounts of metal in the larger crucibles. Graphite rod is thicker and double the lenght of the the standard 12" rods, providing the user good strength and ease of mixing with its thickness and the additional length. Stir your precious metals, scrap metals, while melting.
  • The carbon rod can be used when melting metals with Torch, in Gas or Electric Melting Furnaces.
  • Rod is used for stirring the molten metal in order to get a good homogenous mix of the alloys in Gold, Silver, Brass as well as other metals.
