Special Features

  • Fitment – Engines (Gen IV LS with VVT harness): Works when deleting VVT on Gen IV LS platforms using a non-VVT timing cover: LY6 6.0L, L92/L9H/L94 6.2L, 2010-2011+ LC9 5.3L (VVT), plus other VVT-equipped Gen IV. Confirm by RPO tag (e.g., L92, LY6, L9H, L94, LC9). Not for Gen III rearside cam sensor without proper cover.
  • Fitment – Vehicles (6.2L L92/L9H/L94 examples): Fits Chevrolet: 2008 Tahoe LTZ; 2009-2013 Silverado 1500 LT/LTZ; GMC: 2007-2008 Sierra 1500 Denali; 2007-2008 Yukon/Yukon XL Denali; 2009-2013 Sierra 1500 Denali; Fits Cadillac: 2007-2013 Escalade/ESV/EXT. (These trims carried L92→L9H→L94)
  • Fitment – Vehicles (6.0L LY6 examples):​​ Fits 2007-2009 Silverado 2500/3500HD, 2007-2009 Sierra 2500/3500HD, 2007-2009 Suburban 2500, 2007-2009 Yukon XL 2500, 2008-2009 Express 2500/3500, 2008-2009 Savana 2500/3500 (all equipped with the LY6 engine).

  • What it does (why you need it): Adapts the 5-cavity VVT engine-harness connector to the 3-cavity non-VVT cam sensor sub-harness on the front timing cover—ideal for VVT delete cam swaps. No cutting, truly plug-and-play.
  • Connector bodies & sealing system (searchable refs): VVT side uses GT150 5-Way (refs 15326822 / 15326827 / 13519053). Non-VVT side uses Metri-Pack 150.2 3-Way (ref 12162182, mate 12162186). Listing these helps technicians confirm keying/seal family.
  • Notes for swaps: For best results pair with a proper non-VVT timing cover + 4X cam gear per standard LS VVT-delete procedure; verify ECM calibration. (General VVT-delete procedure reference.)
