You are reading this because your FISHER XV2 snowplow has a loose T-Frame. This very common issue will cause improper/inconsistent geometry and uneven/premature cutting edge wear as well as possibly affecting surface scraping effectiveness and even can cause your very important trip-edge to not work properly. Loose XV2 T-Frames are VERY common. Also, once you've noticed your t-frame is loose, it's already too late for your factory bolts, the slack damages the bolt threads and if you were to try to retighten the now damaged factory bolts, you'd likely strip them before achieving proper torque. FISHER ships the XV2 snowplows out of the factory with lower grade hardware that can only be torqued to a certain specification and this ultimately limits clamp load potential. This complete kit of 4 stronger bolts, nylon insert locknuts, and proper washers when properly torqued this kit increases clamp load from 21,322 pounds up to 30,101 pounds. That is an increase of 41% clamp load. What you are getting is superior strength fasteners in 1 convenient kit (and I supply washers that Fisher doesn't even use) for less cost than factory FISHER parts. That is a classic win/win. *Fits 8'6" and 9'6" FISHER XV2 snowplow.
