Upgrade Design: Various holes and openings in the swage blocks and semi-circular forms around the edges of the blocks bend and form steel of different sizes and shapes. Through holes come in various shapes and sizes and are used to hold, support or back up metal hot rods for further shaping.
Multiple Uses: Operations performed on swage blocks include, but are not limited to, bending, cutting, punching, and forming. The sides are scalloped to assume a formed shape for forging operations. Various shapes around the edge of the swage block have corresponding top profile shapes to shape iron rods into various sections.
