Standing at approximately 26.2" tall, this rocket can reach a projected altitude of 950 ft. (290 m) using a D12-7 Estes rocket engine (sold separately). It is also compatible with C11-3, C11-5, D12-5, and D12-7 rocket engines.

With a projected altitude of up to 950 ft. when powered by an Estes D12-7 rocket engine (sold separately), the Orbitron demonstrates real-world principles of thrust, aerodynamics, and recovery. Builders can enjoy the thrill of crafting their flying model rocket in approximately 1 hour before heading outdoors to test their creation and discover flight physics firsthand.

To launch this rocket, you will need an Estes Porta Pad II Launch Pad, an Electron Beam Launch Controller, a 3/16-inch 2-piece “Maxi” Launch Rod, compatible Estes model-rocket engines, Starters, Recovery Wadding, and any extra materials listed in the directions (sold separately).
