This cool pipe is handmade using bamboo for the stem and a whole tagua seed (vegetable ivory) for the chamber. When the tagua seeds are dry, they become rock solid and are placed in a tumbler that shaves their brown rind and polishes them until they are completely smooth with their characteristic ivory color and texture. Practical, and uncommon, makes the perfect gift. Measures approximately 5” in length.

These natural pipes are sustainable, organic, vegan and biodegradable, pure eco-friendly vegetable ivory (When ripe, tagua seeds are harvested and sun-dried to become rock-solid, resembling ivory in color, texture, and hardness, hence their nickname: “Vegetable Ivory”).
