The AddOn Brocade Compatible TAA Compliant 10GBASE-ZR SFP+ Transceiver is an ultra-long-reach optical module engineered for demanding 10-Gigabit Ethernet applications requiring exceptional distance capabilities. This industrial-grade transceiver delivers reliable 10 Gbps data transmission up to 100 kilometers (approximately 62 miles) over single-mode fiber, surpassing standard ZR optics that typically reach only 80 kilometers. Operating at 1550nm wavelength, the module employs advanced EML laser technology and a sensitive APD receiver to maintain signal integrity across nearly 100 miles of fiber infrastructure. Built for extreme environments, it operates within an industrial temperature range of -40 degrees Celsius to +85 degrees Celsius, making it ideal for unconditioned outdoor cabinets and harsh deployment scenarios. The transceiver features a duplex LC connector and includes Digital Optical Monitoring support for real-time performance tracking. As a TAA Compliant module manufactured in the USA or UK, it meets Trade Agreements Act requirements and is fully eligible for U.S. Federal Government, military, and GSA-schedule networking projects where domestic sourcing is mandatory.
