The Nikon ZR 6K Cinema Camera combines Nikon imaging with RED-inspired color science in a compact body capable of 6K60 recording in REDCODE RAW, N-RAW, or ProRes RAW with 15+ stops of dynamic range. Its Z-mount platform supports all NIKKOR Z lenses and adapted cinema options, while 7.5-stop stabilization ensures smooth handheld, gimbal, or mobile-rig shooting. Deep-learning AF tracks up to nine subjects—including people, animals, and vehicles—for reliable performance in fast-moving environments. Audio records in 32-bit float or 24-bit formats via configurable internal mics or external sources through the line input or digital accessory shoe, with a headphone jack for monitoring. A 4" articulating DCI-P3, 1000-nit touchscreen provides clear viewing, and up to ten LUTs can be loaded for accurate preview. The included NIKKOR Z 50mm f/1.4 lens delivers a natural perspective, smooth background separation, and strong low-light capability for interviews, narrative work, and selective-focus projects. Its STM motor gives quiet, precise AF for video, and its lightweight build balances well on stabilizers.
