This sheave is made from grade 316 stainless steel for maximum corrosion resistance and durability. The bushing is made from lead free oil impregnated bronze for high load, slow turning applications. The bushing has a thick wall to support side load wear and reduce friction. HiLoad indicates a premium, larger diameter sheave designed for 180 degree wire rope turns with a high D/d ratio.
