The Microwave Turntable Motor rotates the glass tray inside the appliance for even heat distribution. This part is designed to be used with select microwave brands, including Whirlpool®, Maytag®, JennAir® and KitchenAid®; check to see if your model number is compatible. Replacing this part will require basic hand tools, some disassembly of the microwave and novice repair experience. You must unplug the microwave or shut off the house circuit breaker before installing this part.
