  • EXTEND NETWORKS & INJECT POWER: Media Converter with SFP slot (transceiver not included) for great compatibility with existing fiber cable and connectors. Extends copper networks via fiber optics up to 75 mi./120 km; RJ45 PoE++ port can extend power and data connection to a PoE-enabled device an additional 330 ft. (100 m) over Cat5e/6/6a cable. Unit offers full duplex and half duplex communication with autonegotiation.
  • POWER OVER ETHERNET ( up to 4PPoE ) / DATA-ONLY PORT: IEEE 802.3bt/at/af-compliant RJ45 port offering up to 90 W to operate a PTZ camera, thin client, point-of-sale system, lighting controller and digital signage application through Ethernet cable; a non-PoE device only receives a data connection; 10/100/1000 Mbps flexibility offers smooth communication between connected equipment.

Description

With minimum cost and complexity, the Intellinet Network Solutions Industrial Gigabit Media Converter and PoE++ Injector offers the network designer a way to migrate from copper-based Ethernet to fiber Ethernet or to expand an existing network. The Converter is completely transparent to the network, so the network performs exactly the way it did before, only now it can support both copper and fiber media. It can achieve building-to-building connectivity without the need for the cost and disruption associated with the installation of additional routers.
