2 Piece Laboratory Set - Rectangular Retort Base, 11" x 6" & Steel Rod, 35.5"

Lab stands are used in every area of science - especially chemistry, for holding and manipulating an experimental apparatus. If you want to create a home laboratory, a retort base & rod are essential for any experiment setup.
The retort stand is made of chemical-resistant cast iron with a blue coating, and features a tapped hole, suitable for connecting the included rod, or any other rods with a 10mm x 1.5mm metric thread. Stand measures 11" long, 6" wide and approximately 2" in height. Included steel rod measures 35.5" tall, 12mm in diameter and features a 10x1.5mm metric thread. Stand weighs 9lbs, providing superb stability for basic experiments & setups. The durable and sturdy construction of this set makes it an excellent choice for science classrooms, household laboratories & basic professional laboratories.
