This Saya was originally made for Japanese samurai Katana swords sold by Handmade Sword (HMS). If your Katana sword wasn't bought from HMS, it might not perfectly fit your sword. Adjustments have to be done by yourself if the Saya does not fit. Shaving or filing off some wood inside of the saya mouth can fix a tight saya. To fix a loose Saya, you can glue on small wood chips one by one until it perfectly fits. Spare wood chips will be included in the package.
