For European vehicles, when installing a new light first turn off the engine and all lights. Access the OEM side markers from the bottom or through the wheel well, remove the rear holding cover, and then fully remove the side marker. Twist and unlock the adapter to remove only the incandescent bulb, then install the new LED replacement. Reconnect the power cord to the bulb adapter, and finally secure the adapter onto the LED side marker to ensure a proper seal and prevent water condensation.
