Most aftermarket car alarms, remote starts and keyless entry systems have door lock outputs that work with a 'negative' electrical pulse. The problem is that many vehicles have door lock systems that work differently. This extremely versitile relay module is used to adapt aftermarket systems with standard negative pulse outputs to vehicles with:
Positive pulse door locks
Reversal rest at ground (also known as '5-wire reverse polarity systems)
High current negative pulse trigger
Vehicles with no power door locks - use the module to power aftermarket door lock motors (motors not included)
Mercedes vacuum lock systems
