In 1981, we created the unmistakable silhouette of Saucony and the triangular cleats with Jazz. When it was created, we worked side by side with podiatrists to ensure we designed shoes that ensure runners comfort and mitigate the impact of long distances. The triangular lug sole provides good grip with a piston-like suspension system, which has inspired the design of Saucony soles to this day.
