This is an opener for canning jar lids, providing an effective way to open those well-sealed and stuck metal canning lids while minimizing the risk of damage. These work on regular and wide mouth canning jars, and include a magnet that prevents dropping the lid when removed, as well as allowing the opener to be stored on a magnetic surface such as a refrigerator. When on a flat magnetic surface, the opener sits with the handle slightly elevated for easier retrieval. There is a hole for a loop of paracord for hanging storage, included. Measures approximately 3.37x1.18x.5 in (85x30x13 mm). This is an original design, and includes a star and the words "Copper State Canning" on the back.
