Blackberry (Rubus Fruticosus) is a deciduous shrub of the Rosaceae family, which reaches 3 m in height. The shoots and stems are planted with spikes, very flexible, lying or rising. The flowers are white or pink. Blooming period is from June to July. The fruits are shiny black or purple-black drupes, quite large in size. The berries ripen from the second half of July - mid-August to mid-autumn.
