Wood includes Maple, Hickory, Beech, Oak, Cherry, Walnut, Poplar, Sycamore, Purpleheart, and Padauk. No inks, dyes, or stains are used. All the color is the natural wood. This can create train cars that look very different in color from those pictured. If you have specific requests for color or type of wood, please put that in the comments when ordering. Most requests can be accommodated without any delays in shipping. Engine - 6" long x 3.25" wide. Features conductor compartment, boiler, chimney, and front headlight (wood, not functional). Coal Car - 5" long x 3.25" wide. Features large compartment for coal (coal not included). Logging Car - 5" long x 3.25" wide. Features 9 logs of various wood types. Passenger Car - 5" long x 3.25" wide. Features 3 windows on two sides. Barrel Car - 5" long x 3.25" wide. Features 3 removable barrels. Caboose - 5" long x 3.25" wide. Features 2 windows on two sides and decorative pillars. Easy connect couplings keep cars connected on hard surfaces or carpet. Finished with several coats of mineral oil. This is a food safe finish. Contains some small parts that may not be suitable for younger children. Edges are beveled to provide a soft, smooth touch. Each car is custom made. Some small variations in design may occur.
