cotton linen
rubber hammer
silicone pad
canvas tote bag
and more—everything needed to start crafting unique, eco-friendly fabric art right away. Method of Making:
Choose suitable plants, such as leaves, petals, and fruits, preferably those with bright colors and unique shapes.
Select the canvas bag or white cotton cloth you want to dye and lay it flat on a silicone pad to ensure the fabric is smooth and wrinkle-free, preventing stains during the dyeing process.
Place the plants: Put the chosen plants on the fabric, arranging their shapes and positions according to your preference. Secure them with clear tape.
Hammer the plants: Gently hammer the plants with a dyeing hammer, using moderate force to ensure that the color and shape of the plants are clearly imprinted on the fabric. You can hammer multiple times until the plant color fully permeates the fabric.
Completion and processing: After hammering, carefully remove the plants and check if the pattern on the fabric is satisfactory. Remove any excess plant residue and floating color.
