The original Prinny made its debut in early 2009 for the PlayStation Portable as a dice'em up action comedy game. The game was popular with action gamers and Disgaea fans. Thanks to the support of these dedicated fan bases, Prinny has returned once again with improved graphics, game play, control, and volume. The game is equipped with the same comical humor and hardcore action, with hours of replay value.

Prinny 2: Dawn of Operation Panties, Dood! (Prinny 2: Dawn of the Great Pantsu Wars in Japan) is the sequel to the PSP game Prinny: Can I Really Be the Hero?. The game features the same gameplay as the original with several new abilities and features.

One night, Etna goes berserk due to the fact that someone broke into the Overlord's Castle and stole her panties. After causing mayhem, Etna sends 1000 Prinnies out to find the culprit and return her stolen underwear.
