The SxS Refrigerator High Voltage Control Board manages the main functions of the appliance, including cooling temperature and defrost times for the fresh food compartment and freezer. If the current control board in your appliance is damaged or you notice that the refrigerator portion of the appliance is freezing your food, replacing this part may alleviate these issues. The part is located at the back of the fridge behind the metal color plate on the left. Replacing this part will require basic hand tools, some disassembly of the refrigerator and novice repair experience. You must unplug the refrigerator or shut off the house circuit breaker for the appliance before installing this part. Also turn off the refrigerator's water supply before you begin.
