The KBGE Series are Chassis Mount, Fan Speed Controls which provide infinitely variable speed control. These Solid State AC Variable Voltage Fan Controls operate from 115/230VAC, 50/60 Hz and have a maximum rating of 12.5 Amps @ 40ºC. When mounted on a 12" x 18" x 1/8" vertical aluminum plate, the rating can be extended up to 20.0 Amps. A 250 ohm, 2 watt speed potentiometer must be purchased separately. These controls contain extended range circuitry, RFI filtering and an adjustable trim pot to set the minimum output voltage. These controls are ideal for controlling loads such as Shaded Pole, Permanent Split Capacitor (PSC) and Universal (AC/DC) motors. Applications include air curtains, ventilators, heat tunnels, stirrers, theater lighting, photocopy machines and laminar flow hoods.
