Simple parameter assignment using tool integrated in STEP 7

The communications module has the following features:

LEDs, for display of "Transmit", "Receive" and "Fault"
Communication interface
This is available in three versions for the following transmission systems:
RS 232C (V.24)
RS 422/RS 485 (X.27).

Various loadable drivers are available for the CP 341:
Modbus:
for communication according to the Modbus protocol with RTU format:
Modbus master:
master/slave communication with S7 as master.
Modbus slave:
master/slave communication with S7 as slave, frame traffic from slave to slave not possible.
