Description

This driveshaft center support bearing brace is compatible with MK5 R32, MK6 R, and 8P A3 models.It fits the 2006–2008 A3 3.2L (8P) and 2008 R32 (MK5).The assembly includes a polyurethane bearing support in two halves, a 6061-T6 billet aluminum carrier housing, medium strength threadlocker (0.5ml), carrier housing mounting hardware, and TTY hardware for installation at the chassis and flex disc couplings.The carrier housing is Type II black anodized for corrosion protection.The design retains the factory mounting location and exhaust clearance.The polyurethane bearing support clamps over the existing center support bearing and replaces worn rubber to restore proper driveshaft alignment and reduce movement.Reference part number: 1K0521349.
