Special Features
This product is suitable for aquariums with a volume of less than 21 gallons / 80 liters (for example, the method to calculate aquarium volume: (length 16 inches × width 16 inches × height 16 inches) / 231 ≈ 17.73 gallons). In an environment of 86°F, a 21-gallon/80L aquarium is expected to be maintained at around 26°C;
The SEAMJO-A11 aquarium chiller features a built-in water pump design, reducing the hassle of connecting an additional water pump; the A11-JJ does not have a built-in water pump and requires a water pump to operate;
It is recommended to reduce the water amount to about 80% (≈16.8 gallons) when using it in the hot summer, as the ambient temperature and water volume will affect the final cooling effect;
Please do not place the right side of the machine (the vent) facing the fish tank, as the heat from the machine will warm the tank and reduce cooling efficiency. It is recommended to place it on the left side of the fish tank, leaving at least 6 inches/15 cm of space around it, and ensure it is used in a well-ventilated area;
Please hold the machine diagonally with both hands when taking it out of the carton to avoid cutting your fingers on the condenser. After removing the machine, it should be placed upright and left for more than 4 hours before plugging in. Use clean water to circulate for 1 hour to clean the inside of the machine (please do not use water over 95°F to clean the machine);
A11 Please make sure that both the inlet and outlet pipes are submerged in water before turning on the power and setting the temperature. Otherwise, the chiller will make a loud noise when sucking in air. If this happens, please turn off the power first, submerge and secure the inlet pipe in water, and then reconnect the power;
We recommend wrapping white Teflon tape around the inlet and outlet of the aquarium chiller before covering it with the water pipe to prevent leaks at the joints;
