There are no monthly contracts needed with this phone because it is programmed to only dial 911 (free call). The 4G 911 emergency cell phone runs on a lithium ion cell phone battery and has a power supply back up, long lasting alkaline batteries that last over 24 months. The phone will work off the nearest cell tower (at&t 4G LTE network) and dispatch to the local 911 call center. It is equipped with geolocation, allowing your phone to determine your current location using GPS technology, can access GPS signals to identify your approximate geographic coordinates. A location sheet is also included on the inside door of the enclosure so the caller can relay the exact address to the 911 operator during the call.
