Premium 1 Inch Delrin Plastic Ball Bearings (G1 Precision Grade) These 1” Delrin (Acetal / POM) plastic ball bearings are manufactured to a G1 precision grade, making them suitable for applications where tight tolerances, smooth rolling, and material consistency matter. With a standard diameter of 1.00 inch (25.4 mm) and a lightweight construction of 0.406 oz (11.51 g) per ball, these balls provide excellent performance without adding unnecessary mass. Delrin (Polyoxymethylene), also known as Acetal or Polyacetal, is a high-performance engineering thermoplastic known for its high strength, rigidity, and hardness. It features a low coefficient of friction, high abrasion resistance, and excellent dimensional stability, making it ideal for bearing and wear applications. Delrin also offers low water absorption along with good electrical and dielectric properties, allowing it to perform consistently in a wide range of environments. Naturally white in color, Delrin can accept opaque coloring and can be polished to a smooth, glossy finish. While Delrin is generally difficult to bond, it can be successfully adhered using epoxies, polyurethanes, and cyanoacrylate (super glue). The material provides good resistance to many chemicals, though it should not be used in environments involving strong mineral acids, chlorine, or highly alkaline substances. Common Applications: Ball bearing and roller systems Pumps and fluid handling components Valve bodies and seals Wear surfaces and low-friction assemblies Industrial, mechanical, and DIY projects These 1 inch Delrin plastic bearing balls are an excellent choice when corrosion resistance, smooth operation, and lightweight performance are required.
